History
Mlada is a stage-name of young ukrainian singer
Marina Yurasova.
She entered pop-vocals department of Glier Music
College under supervision of Mrs. T. M. Russova.
During college days she began to write author's songs,
owing to which she took part in famous ukrainian festival
"Chervona Ruta-97". Also she got interested in jazz and
began her carrier as a jazz vocalist at student’s ensembles
and as a soloist of jazz big-band of Glier Music College . .
She took part in various art projects of Ukrainian jazz
bands, and also set up exclusive concert programmes,
which she performed in the musical clubs of Kyiv.
Favorite programmes of the audience:
"Capricorn’s dreams" (2002) – lyrical jazz project.
"Children project" (2004) – based on children songs
from movies and cartoons.
"Bjork acoustic project" (2005) – based on songs
of the famous singer Bjork arranged in modern jazz version. Next
Back ...The idea of the abum «Oy vesna, vesna…”» appeared in 2003 in creative
unity of “three Capricorns”- Sergey Tabunshik, Mlada
and Pavlo Shepeta following “The dreams of Capricorns”
jazz project (2002). It consisted in a concept to create
modern ukainian project, at the heart of which a synthesis
of Ukrainian folklore with other musical trends was taken.
In the course of 2004 was recorded and in May 2005
released a new album.
The album included seven ancient Ukrainian folk songs and
a bonus-track “Capricorn’s dream”( by S. Tabunshik ).
The album was recorded in the studio “ Tretyakoff Production”
in Kyiv.Recorded and mixed by I.Kurylovich. For the song
“Sydyt’ Mlada za stolychkom ” video clip was also made
by V. Priduvalov.Next
